MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD AT THE DANNY FLEAR COMMUNITY CENTRE ON TUESDAY, 15th OCTOBER 2019 at 7.30pm

2 NO POLICE REPORT
(Report and apologies received from PSCO H Baker on the 16th October 2019 reporting on an anti-social behaviour incident in Acorn Close.)
3 MINUTES
3.1 The minutes of the meeting held on the 17th September 2019 having been previously circulated were agreed and signed by the Chairman.
4 MATTERS ARISING
4.1 It was noted that the annual inspection of the Adult Exercise Equipment had now taken place, a copy of the report was handed to Councillor Marshall and a further copy had been forwarded to Mr J Posey.
5 NO DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
6 PLANNING
6.1 B/19/0358 – No decision had yet been made on the application for change of use of land from equestrian (Class D2) to residential (Class C3) at the Old School, Boston Long Hedges, Freiston Ings for Mr M Olive.
6.2 B/19/0418 – The application for demoliation of existing ground floor link extension an erection of a single storey side extension at White Loaf Hall Cottage, for Mr & Mrs Hughes was discussed. No objections.
7 PARISH MATTERS
7.11 Highways – Notification had been received regarding a temporary road closure on Shore Road for Remembrance Sunday. The notice had been displayed accordingly.
7.12 Councillor Skinner reported that the problem with the culvert in Church End Road had not been deemed bad enough by Lincolnshire County Council.
7.13 Mention was made regarding blocked gullies in Barneyfield Lane, and the sign at the top of Spittal Hill was loose and on the floor. Councillor Skinner stated he would report.
7.14 Councillor Skinner reminded the Council that the Ward Walk would be taking place in the parish on the 19th November 2019.
7.2 Freiston Hall School – No further information had been received by the Parish Council
7.3 Speed Indicating Devices - Councillor Sheldon stated he would be making arrangements in the near future.
8 CORRESPONDENCE
8.1 Lincolnshire County Council – Information had ben forwarded that a networking event would be taking place at Fenside Community Centre on the 12th December regarding the dangers of loan sharks. Further information was also available in the lalc news which had been forwarded to all councillors.
9 FINANCE
9.1 The clerk presented the up-to-date accounts, together with an update of the precept spending to date and evidence of the bank balance. It was noted that the second half of the precept had been received.
It was noted that the Clock at the Church had been struck by lighting and monies would be needed from the amount set aside for Church Restoration.

10 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
10.1 The next Council meeting would be held at the Danny Flear Community Centre on Tuesday, 19th November 2019 at 7.30 pm.
10.2 The Christmas meal was discussed, for Tuesday, 17th December 2019 and it was agreed to make enquiries at the Kings Head.
11 ANY FURTHER BUSINESS
11.1 Councillor Pearson stated that he would now leave the re-staining of the bus shelter until the spring.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.55 pm.
