You are summoned to attend the meeting of Freiston Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 17th August 2023, at 7:30pm in the Danny Flear Community Centre.

AGENDA
1. Chairman to open the meeting:
2. Apologises: To receive and accept apologises where a valid reason for the absence has been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
3. Police Matters: Stats & incidents are available to view on the police website.
4. Minutes: To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 20th July 2023. To resolve as a correct record & to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes
5. Declarations of interest (if any): To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests
6. Planning update: Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - To consider and make observations on all planning applications received and to note planning approvals, refusals, enforcement complaints and appeal decisions advised by Boston Borough Council.

7. Parish Matters / Matters Arising / Updates
7.1 Street Lights – Ongoing.
7.2 Highway & Roads – To Discuss & Resolve.
• The clerk to find a custom sign for the Danny Flear Community Centre for directions to the defibrillator
• The clerk received a complaint from a resident with regards to careless / dangerous driving in Freiston, especially Bull Pastures, Church Road.
• The Clerk received a complaint about Antisocial Behaviour at Freiston Shore
7.3 Levelling up fund - Playing Field & Bowls Club - Update: The clerk received notification asking that Freiston Parish Council & The Bowls Club to re-submit separate requests for funding. The Clerk to deal.
7.4 Newsletter: Update:
• The price of 500, A5 Newsletters in colour, cost £135.00 – booklet style.
• The price of 50, A5 Newsletters in colour, cost £35.00 – booklet style.
• To discuss items for the September Newsletter
7.5 From July Meeting, Discuss & Resolve - We’ll Meet Again Museum – Donation.
• Will the Parish Council make a donation towards the cost of signage within the village?
7.6 To Discuss & Resolve - Volunteer Day – Litter Picking
• Will the parish council have a litter picking day, & supply the refreshments as a Thank you?
• Sandwiches, tea, coffee, soft drinks & cakes – Approx £100
• Also, an opportunity for residents to have their say on what they would like to see happen in the village.

8.1 Bank Account: Statement of accounts as at 17th August 2023
8.2 To approve the accounts for payments
9. Date of next parish council meeting: Thursday 21st September 2023 at 7:30pm To advise The Clerk is on holiday from the 1st September to 11th September 2023
