The meeting of Freiston Parish Council, will be held on Thursday 19th January 2023, at 7.30 pm in the Danny Flear Community Centre.

1. Chairman to open the meeting:
2. Apologies: To receive & accept apologises where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting:
3. Police Matters: Stats & incidents are available to view on the police website. Local Crime information website www.streetcheck.co.uk Crime data – Clerk to check the street check website – Update at meeting.
4. Minutes: To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 20th December 2022. To resolve as a correct record & to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes.
5. Declarations of interest (if any): To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests
6. Planning update: No planning matters received for January 2023
7 Parish Matters / Matters Arising /Updates
7.1 – Street Lights – The clerk has sent details to Boston Borough Council, waiting to hear back from them. / The clerk has been in contact with NSC concerning the lighting.
7.2 – Parish Magazine – Update. – Not received a definite response from the surrounding villages with regards to the magazine.
7.3 – Projector Screen – Update.
7.4 - Highways & Roads – Update:
7.5 - Defibrillator: - Update – The clerk has been in contact with the previous owner with regards to the online registration, they mentioned that the paperwork / passwords were all with the original paperwork, which has gone missing. Once the unit has been moved, the clerk will try to register online.
What is happening with the move of the defibrillator from the Kings Head to The Castle?
7.6 – Poppies around the village – To discuss & resolve - Cllr P Bedford has received a request for poppies to be displayed around the village, in November 2023.
7.7 – Christmas in Freiston – To discuss & resolve.
• For Christmas 2023 - Christmas Tree in the village, approx. cost £60 - £100, depending on size of the tree. Lights approx. £30.00.

8: Finance
8.1: Bank Account – Statement of accounts as at 19th January 2023
8.2: To approve Accounts for payment – To be shown at meeting
8.3. The clerk has requested the Precept of £32,500 from Boston Borough Council.
9: Date of Next Scheduled Meeting – Thursday 16th February 2023 at 7.30pm
