You are summoned to attend the Monthly Meeting of Freiston Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 16th July 2026, at 7:30pm in the Danny Flear Community Centre.

AGENDA
 
1. Chairman to open the meeting: 
 
2. Apologises: To receive and accept apologises where a valid reason for the absence has been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
• Cllr Bridgett Posey – Prior Commitment 
3. Public Forum: To resolve to suspend the meeting for a maximum of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the council. 
 
4. Police Matters: Stats & incidents are available to view on the police website. 
• To be presented at the meeting
 
5. Minutes: To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 18th June 2026. To resolve as a correct record and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes 
 
6. Declarations of interest (if any): To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests
 
7. Planning update: Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - To consider and make observations on all planning applications received and to note planning approvals, refusals, enforcement complaints and appeal decisions advised by Boston Borough Council. – To include those received between the day of posting this notice and the day of the meeting.
 
8. Discuss and resolve the following items
 
8.1. Highway and Roads – Update 
 
8.2. Brand End Road – Holmers Lane – To Note
• The clerk received an email from LCC on 19th June 2026 stating they will take an assessment in the next couple of weeks and will advise
• Update when available 
 
8.3: Park Lane speed bumps – Update
• The clerk received an email on 7th July 2026, stating LCC are in discussions with their delivery partner to arrange installation of the speed bumps. 
• Update when available.
 
8.4: Priory Road Speeding - Resident complaint 
• The clerk has emailed the neighbourhood policy team, requesting more patrols on Priory Road.
• Update when available. 
 
8.5: Kings Head Radar Speed Radar Pole – To note 
• The clerk has been in touch with LRSP, and has been advised that the works have been approved, but no date has been set for the repair. LRSP will advise when completed. 
 
8.6: Priory Road – Solar Speed Camera figures 
• The clerk to show the councillors the figures for Priory Road. 
 
8.7: Progress of the Pavilion – Cllr Shaun Pearson
• To discuss what is happening at the pavilion
 
8.8: Newsletter
• To discuss items to go in the September newsletter
 
 
 
8.9: Orchard Trees 
• The clerk sent an email (30th June 2026) to all councillors regarding free orchard trees.
 
 
9: Finance:
 
9.1 Bank Account: Statement of accounts as at 16th July 2026
9.2 To approve the accounts for payments
