You are summoned to attend The Monthly Meeting of Freiston Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 16th April 2026, at 7:30pm in the Danny Flear Community Centre.

1. Chairman to open the meeting:
 
2. Apologises: To receive and accept apologises where a valid reason for the absence has been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
 
3. Public Forum: To resolve to suspend the meeting for a maximum of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the council. 
 
4. Police Matters: Stats & incidents are available to view on the police website.

5. Minutes: To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 19th March 2026. To resolve as a correct record and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes 
 
6. Declarations of interest (if any): To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests

7. Planning update: Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - To consider and make observations on all planning applications received and to note planning approvals, refusals, enforcement complaints and appeal decisions advised by Boston Borough Council. – To include those received between the day of posting this notice and the day of the meeting.

8.1. Highway and Roads – Update 
 
8.2: Brand End Road – Holmers Lane – Cllr Nigel Marshall
A resident has complained regarding the speeding 
• The Clerk has emailed Cllr Alistair Arundell, and waiting a reply.
• The clerk has emailed LCC directly, regarding Butterwick Road from the school to Freiston and the speed limit change.
• Update when available 
 
8.3:  Park Lane speed bumps – To Note
• The clerk has emailed Cllr Alistair Ardunell twice regarding this issue and has not received a reply.
• Update when available.
 
8.4:  Pilgrim Fathers – Scalp Road – To Note
• Cllr Judith Godwin wrote to Cllr Dale Broughton (leader Boston Borough Council) with the concerns. 
• Received a reply via email, forwarded email to all councillors on 9th April 2026. 
 
8.5:  Commemorative Plaques – Cllr Bridgett Posey 
• From the March 2026 meeting, Cllr Bridgett Posey to purchase the plaques required. 
• Update when available.
 
8.6: Mowing of Churchyard – Cllr Nigel Marshall
• From the March 2026 meeting, Cllr Peter Bedford mentioned the mowing at the churchyard, Cllr Nigel Marshall to speak to the contractors.

8.7: Personalised Flag 
• From the March 2026 meeting, all councillors agreed for the Clerk to purchase the personalised flag. 
• The clerk has been in contact with the flag company and waiting for the proof to be sent over.

8.8: RSBP & a resident at Plumbers Mews – Security Cameras – Cllr Nigel Marshall 
• Details at the meeting. 
 
8.9: Kings Head Radar Speed Radar Pole – Cllr Shaun Pearson
• Cllr Shaun Pearson advised that the pole is wobbly and loose.

9.2 To approve the accounts for payment 
 
10. Date of next parish council meeting: Thursday 21st May 2026 – At 7pm – an earlier start due to the Annual Parish Council Meeting, where a new chair and vice chair are elected.
