You are summoned to attend The Monthly Meeting of Freiston Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 17th July 2025, at 7:30pm in the Danny Flear Community Centre.

AGENDA
1. Chairman to open the meeting:
2. Apologises: To receive and accept apologises where a valid reason for the absence has been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
3. Public Forum: To resolve to suspend the meeting for a maximum of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the council.
4. Police Matters: Stats & incidents are available to view on the police website.

5. Minutes: To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 17th July 2025. To resolve as a correct record and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes
6. Declarations of interest (if any): To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests
7. Planning update: Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - To consider and make observations on all planning applications received and to note planning approvals, refusals, enforcement complaints and appeal decisions advised by Boston Borough Council. – To include those received between the day of posting this notice and the day of the meeting.
8. Updates / Discuss and resolve the following items
8.1. Coastal Newsletter Donation Request
The Clerk received an email from the committee of the Coastal Newsletter for a donation for their new newsletter. The Clerk sent the email to all Councillors.
8.2. Highway and Roads
8.2.1. The Clerk has ordered the correx signs in July, but did not receive notification of delivery. The clerk has chased LCC up, and waiting for a date for delivery – Ongoing
8.2.2. The Clerk has contacted LCC regarding a meeting with Cllr Nigel Marshall Chairman. Not yet received any response and will chase up before the meeting. Ongoing
8.3. Wicksteed Quote – Crows Nest
The clerk has contacted Wicksteed regarding the Crows Nest quote, and have requested the quote be sent before the next parish council meeting – Ongoing
8.4. Land at Scrane End – Freiston Parish Council Land
As mentioned at the end of the last parish council meeting, the land at Scrane End is up for sale, should the land adjacent which belongs to the PC be put up for sale or kept?
8.5. Final Draft of Newsletter
8.5.1. The clerk sent all Councillors the final draft of the newsletter for approval.
8.5.2. The clerk has received an email from the Coastal Community Newsletter committee member, detailing the dates of St James church services. With the new coastal newsletter, do the PC want to include this information in the PC newsletter.
8.6. Data Analysis for Solar Speed Unit
The Clerk to show the data from one of the solar speed units at the meeting.
9. Finance:
9.1 Bank Account: Statement of accounts as at 21st August 2025
9.2 To approve the accounts for payments
9.3 The Clerk informed all Councillors that the AGAR external audit from PKF Littlejohn has come back with no problems or concerns.
10. Date of next parish council meeting: Thursday 25th September 2025
