You are summoned to attend the meeting of Freiston Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 18th April 2024, at 7:30pm in the Danny Flear Community Centre.

AGENDA
1. Chairman to open the meeting:
2. Apologises: To receive and accept apologises where a valid reason for the absence has been given to the clerk prior to the meeting.
3. Public Forum: To resolve to suspend the meeting for a maximum of 10 minutes to allow members of the public to ask questions or make short statements to the council.
4. Police Matters: Stats & incidents are available to view on the police website.
• March 2024 – To be presented at the meeting
5. Minutes: To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on the 21st March 2024. To resolve as a correct record and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes
6. Declarations of interest (if any): To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests
7. Planning update: Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - To consider and make observations on all planning applications received and to note planning approvals, refusals, enforcement complaints and appeal decisions advised by Boston Borough Council. –

8. Updates /Notes / Discuss and resolve the following items
8.1. Highway & Roads – Update

8.2. Parking along Church View – Update
LCC Cllr Paul Skinner to update on who owns the grass verge.
8.3. Horses Butterwick Road – Update
The clerk received a call from a resident, as the horses had escaped on to the A52, Cllr Nigel Marshall spoke to the resident and helped house the horses until the fence was repaired.
8.4 Letter of Thanks – To Note - The clerk sent a letter of thanks to Fred Grant Company by post.
8.5. Play Equipment purchase – Update
Work started 3rd April 2024 on the play area. Updates have been sent to the funding organisation, as part of the funding approval.
8.6. Letter to TH Clements – Regarding Plastic Waste – To Note
The clerk sent a letter in the post to the MD, yet to receive a reply.
8.7. Freiston Bowls Club
Cllr Nigel Marshall received a message from the Bowls club requesting a donation for help with repairs to the pathway to the veranda.
9. Finance:
9.1 Bank Account: Statement of accounts as at 18th April 2024
9.2 To approve the accounts for payments
10. Date of next parish council meeting: Thursday 16th May 2024 at 7:00pm. Earlier start due to the Annual Parish Council Meeting.
